A Message from the NKYC Founders:
Across the country, leaders are doing incredible work bringing the health benefits of yoga, mindfulness, and meditation into our communities. Kids and teens are learning how to de-stress, focus their minds, and develop greater self-awareness. Educators, mental health professionals, parents, and yoga teachers are seeing the benefits of social emotional learning, physical movement, and wellness programs taught at all ages. The National Kids Yoga Conference unifies this work through an inspiring, collaborative, professional conference, which will propel our movement forward and deepen our impact.
As yoga teachers, moms, and community leaders we feel passionate about creating a conference so this remarkable community can come together in a professional learning environment. We have watched the practice of yoga transform our own lives, our families, and the students we serve. Inspired by transformation and the need to bring together like-minded teachers, leaders, and visionaries in the kids yoga world for collaboration and connection, the National Kids Yoga Conference was born.
The National Kids Yoga Conference was founded to create a space where inspired action, collective connection, and meaningful conversations towards implementing positive change in our communities and schools can happen in a professional learning forum. We are especially grateful to our sponsors, hosts, presenters, and the attendees that energize this beautiful community and continue to make this conference an annual event.

Namas Day® is brought to you by My Area Yoga, a website dedicated to equally supporting yoga and wellness businesses in Philadelphia, Washington DC, Chicago and their surrounding areas. Representing the community as a whole, we are not owned or operated by any individual yoga studio or business. We strive to bring together the community, offering an opportunity to strengthen our ties without competition – connecting students, teachers, studios and wellness businesses.

What Would It Feel Like To Live With Intention?
How would it feel to make time to rest, nourish, connect, and play a priority, if just for a weekend?
Have you been so busy that you have lost track of where you are going, what you are doing at your work, home or even feel disconnected with your own relationship to your self?
What if everything you did aligned with your values and purpose?
What if you weren’t always so busy doing this or that and made time to fall in love?
What if you experienced less struggle and more joy? What would it be like to know you’re capable of directing your life—and that you’re willing to step up and do this!
This fall, you are in for a treat.
If any of this resonates and you’re ready to dive into the materials from Delight you’re invited to apply to join me and other like-minded, open-hearted awesome women in the beautiful Virginia countryside as we explore the principles I outline in my book through movement, meditation, self-contemplation, discussion, writing, and art. The Delight Retreat is a weekend of rest, contemplation and inquiry into the areas of our lives that we neglect or are not able to make time for in our daily life; a weekend to walk in nature, tap into your intuition, and BREATHE deeply.

Four days to replenish with inspirational speakers, yoga and adventure.
I am Cordelia Gaffar, an author, speaker and founder of Workout Around My Day. Over these four days, you will replenish the woman inside of the mom. You will nurture, nourish, energize and sweet talk her. In my workshop, implement practical stress reduction and reframing strategies that will be ready use when you triggered.
Workout Around My Day is a three step process created over the past fifteen years to help me raise my six children. With this program moms can thrive and prioritize themselves by nourishing with wholesome food, energizing with movement and encouraging themselves with sweet talk.
As a corporate accountant and commuting mom in 2002, I found self-care overwhelming and needed to easily provide a peaceful environment and wholesome food for my family. Beginning with a stressful second pregnancy resulting in postpartum depression and excessive weight gain, I started researching and implementing foods and exercises to be centered, peaceful, and whole.
